§ 32-66. Revocation.

  • (a)

    The safety officer may revoke any permit issued hereunder if any of the permit holder's signs, barricades or other approved traffic-control measures, devices or procedures at the work site does not comply with the requirements of the manual, or with the terms of the permit.

    (b)

    Prior to revoking any permit, the safety officer shall give notice of the pending revocation to the person named in the permit application as being in charge of the project. Such named person shall be given a reasonable period of time, not to exceed twenty-four (24) hours, to correct such deficiency as may be noted by the safety officer before such permit is revoked.

    (c)

    In the event a permit is revoked, as provided for in this section, it shall be unlawful to continue to block the street, or any portion thereof, except to restore the site to its proper condition as required herein.
