§ 20.5-14.5. Permit fees.

  • The city council upon the recommendation of the city manager or his/her designee shall establish fees for the leasing of public land and buildings and all temporary concession permits for the Mardi Gras event based on a dollar amount per each square foot or some other equitable method for obtaining a fair market value for the lease and to control the number of concessions to be operated under each lease or permit. Provided, those permit fees, approved in the contract with the exclusive concessionaire shall automatically be approved. No permittee or concessionaire may sublease any portion of the leased premises without the specific approval and consent of the city through its city council.
