§ 14-51. Stop work order; revocation of permit.

  • When there is reasonable cause to believe that a person holding a city-issued permit authorizing land disturbing activity has violated the terms of the permit or implemented site development in such a manner as to materially adversely affect the health, welfare or safety of persons residing or working on the development site or nearby area so as to be materially detrimental to the public welfare or injurious to property or improvements in the neighborhood or nearby area, the administrator, after notice to the person holding the permit, may suspend or revoke the permit, in addition to invoking any other penalty provisions contained in this article. The work shall not continue until the permit is restored or new permits obtained.
