§ 4-2. Closing hours for package stores.

Every person who conducts business in the city under authority of a package store permit duly issued by the state liquor control board shall not open before 10:00 a.m. and shall close at or before 9:00 p.m. on each day that such permit holder is allowed to conduct business under applicable provisions of the Alcoholic Beverage Code and ordinances of the city. Holders of such package store permits shall be closed to business all day on each of the following holidays: New Year's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and on Sunday. When Christmas or New Year's Day falls on a Sunday, such package stores shall be closed to business all day on the following Monday.
