§ 3-3. Authority of city manager.

Upon final approval by the city attorney, the city manager is authorized to execute leases of real property located at Galveston International Airport, if the term of the lease does not exceed three (3) years, inclusive of all options, renewals and extensions, and if the lease is at or greater than fair market value. If the lease is less than fair market value, the city manager shall obtain city council approval prior to executing such lease.
