§ 36-112. Sewers in subdivisions.

  • Any person developing a subdivision shall provide the necessary rights-of-way or easements for sanitary sewers and appurtenances to be installed. The developer or subdivider shall be required to construct curb and gutters approved by the city before any sanitary sewer or appurtenance will be installed. The cost of extending and constructing all sanitary sewer installations required to extend service to the subdivision, both on site and off site improvements, shall be paid by the developer or subdivider. All sanitary sewers and manholes shall be installed along the center line of the street, alley or other right-of-way or easement in accordance with the city's prevailing standards of materials and construction specifications.
