§ 34-10. Emergency and experimental regulations.

(a)

The director of traffic, subject to approval of the traffic commission, may test traffic control devices under actual conditions of traffic.

(b)

The chief of police by, and with the approval of the director of traffic, is hereby empowered to enforce temporary or experimental regulations to cover emergencies or special conditions. No such temporary or experimental regulation shall remain in effect for more than ninety (90) days.
