§ 32-8. Removal of obstructions.

  • (a)

    The city manager is hereby authorized to cause to be removed any unlawful obstruction to any public grounds, streets, avenues, alleys or sidewalks of the city.

    (b)

    If the owner of such obstruction cannot be found, the city manager shall cause the obstruction to be stored. If after ten (10) days no demand has been made, it shall be sold by the city manager at public auction for cash, after giving ten (10) days' public notice of the time and place of sale. The proceeds of such sale, after deducting all expenses and costs, shall be deposited in the general fund.
