§ 26-30. Duties.

The park and recreation board shall act in an advisory capacity to the city manager and the city council in developing an overall program for parks and recreation for the city. The board shall make investigation into the possibility of acquiring park land for the city by donation or bequest and shall make recommendations to the city manager and the city council on the capital improvement budget and the annual budget of the parks and recreation department of the city.
