§ 19-104. Reporting of alarm signals.

  • It shall be an offense under this article for a permit holder of an alarm system to allow alarm signals to be reported through a relaying intermediary, an alarm system monitor, or person who does not comply with the requirements of this article or with the rules and regulations pertaining to alarm systems promulgated by the city, or through an alarm system monitor, a relaying intermediary, or any person who is not licensed by the state commission on private security. Likewise, it shall be an offense under this article for any such intermediary, alarm system monitor, or person to transmit an alarm signal or cause such signal or alarm to be transmitted or relayed from an alarm site for which there is not an existing valid and unrevoked alarm permit issued pursuant to this article.
