§ 16-8. Maximum period vessels allowed in front of wharves.

  • (a)

    No vessel coming into the Harbor of Galveston shall be allowed to lie in the stream, in front of the wharves, for a longer time than one hour, except in case of emergency, preparatory to hauling into a berth.

    (b)

    No vessel preparing to go to sea shall be allowed to lie in the stream in front of the wharves, for a longer time than one hour, except in case of emergency, after leaving her berth.
