§ 13-13. Amendments.

The fire prevention code adopted in this article is hereby amended as follows:
Chapter 48 of the 2012 "International Fire Code" Section 4.6.3, Historic Buildings" of the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code 2012 edition to permit the fire marshal the authority to offer some leniency from code requirements for buildings or structures identified and classified as historic buildings or structures where it is evident that a reasonable degree of safety is provided. If the fire marshal judges that a reasonable degree of safety is provided, compliance with the modified requirement is adequate.
